Verify only the included remote control and receiver are being used. 3rd party parts are not compatible.
Check Ceiling
This fan cannot be installed on a ceiling with slope over 18 degrees.
Check Power Supply
Verify that the fan is connected to US standard 120 volts/60 hz AC power.
Check Screws
Verify that all screws are tightened properly; loose screws on the light kit or motor housing will vibrate and cause a humming noise.
Check Loose Parts
Verify that the light kit and glass are properly tightened.
Bypass Receiver
Wire the fan without the receiver to see if it is defective.
With power off at the breaker, wire the black and blue wires from the fan motor directly to the hot wire in the outlet box and the white wire from the fan motor directly to the neutral wire in the outlet box.
Restore power and the fan and light should power on at their highest/brightest settings.
Replacement Parts
If noise goes away after bypassing, the receiver was defective and should be replaced.
If noise persists and only happens when the fan is running, the capacitor should be replaced.
If noise persists and only happens when the light is on, the LED light kit should be replaced. If that does not resolve the issue, the LED driver should be replaced.

Knocking/Grinding Noise Checklist
Check Gaps
Check for loose packing materials or other objects between the blades, light kit, and motor housing.
Spin the blades by hand to get a close look and see if they are grinding on any parts of the fan body.
Check Ceiling
This fan cannot be installed on a ceiling with slope over 18 degrees.
Check Screws
Verify that all screws are tightened properly; loose screws on the light kit or motor housing will vibrate and cause a humming noise.
Check Installation
Verify that the fan was installed as shown in the owner’s manual or installation video.
Break-In Fan
If noise is light or mild and the fan is a new installation, allow the fan to run for 24 hours to break in the bearings.
Send Video
If checklist items have not resolved the issue, record a video of the fan running and send to customer service for issue verification and solution.
FAN & LIGHT ISSUES
Fan and Light Do Not Turn On
Check Control Devices
Verify a dimmer switch is not being used. The fan can only be wired to a single on/off wall switch.
Verify only the included remote control and receiver are being used. 3rd party parts are not compatible.
Check Power
Ensure power is on at the wall switch and breaker.
Ensure fan is installed on a US standard 120v/60hz AC power supply.
Check Remote Batteries
Ensure the remote has batteries installed.
If over 1 year old, try replacing them to test.
Check Remote Control
Ensure the red indicator light on the top corner of the remote lights up when buttons are pressed.
If indicator light does not light up, and batteries are confirmed to be new/working, the remote may be defective and will need replacement.
Check Dipswitches
Ensure the dipswitch code in the battery compartment of the remote matches the dipswitch code on the fan's receiver.
Check Wiring
Verify that the ceiling connections are properly connected and done as shown in the owner’s manual and have not been pulled out of their wire nuts.
If the fan/light functions begin to work again, the receiver is defective and should be replaced.
If the fan and light functions still do not work, there is an issue with the wiring and home power supply and fan motor wires need to be inspected for issues.
Customer service can assist with replacement parts.
Fan and/or Light are Activating on their Own
Check Control Devices
Verify a dimmer switch is not being used. The fan can only be wired to a single on/off wall switch.
Verify only the included remote control and receiver are being used. 3rd party parts are not compatible.
Change Dipswitches
The fan may be getting interference from other fans or wireless devices.
Change the dipswitch codes in the battery compartment of the remote and the receiver to create a new frequency code. The codes must match for the remote and receiver to communicate with eachother.
Replacement Parts
If checklist items have not resolved the issue, the receiver may be defective.
Customer service can assist with replacement parts.
Multiple Fans are Being Controlled by the Same Remote
Change Dipswitches
The fans are operating on the same frequency.
Change the dipswitch codes in the battery compartment of each remote and duplicate the code in the receiver of its corresponding fan.
Receivers will only listen to remotes with the same dipswitch code.
FAN ONLY ISSUES
Fan is Running Slow or Does Not Turn On
Check Control Devices
Check Reverse Switch
Ensure the reverse slider switch is pushed all the way in either direction.
If the switch is left near the center, the fan will have a difficult time starting up and running.
Check for Resistance
With power off, spin the fan blades by hand.
If the fan is difficult to spin or is getting stuck, there may be an issue with the installation, parts, or motor bearings.
Check Wiring
Verify that the ceiling connections are properly connected and done as shown in the owner’s manual and have not been pulled out of their wire nuts, specifically the black wire from the motor to the receiver.
Bypass Receiver
Wire the fan without the receiver to see if it is defective.
With power off at the breaker, wire the black and blue wires from the fan motor directly to the hot wire in the outlet box and the white wire from the fan motor directly to the neutral wire in the outlet box.

Replacement Parts
If fan works correctly after bypassing, the receiver is defective and should be replaced.
If the fan still does not work, the capacitor should be replaced.
Customer service can assist with replacement parts.
Fan has Low Airflow
Blade Direction
Ensure the fan is set to the correct direction using the reverse switch on the switch housing.
Counter-clockwise for forward/downward airflow (summer mode).
Clockwise for reverse/upward airflow (winter mode).
Blade Height
Ensure the fan blades are between 7ft – 9 ft from the floor for optimal airflow.
If the fan is installed too high, airflow will be reduced, and you will need a longer downrod (purchased separately) to lower the fan.
Fan Speed
Ensure the fan is set to the highest fan speed for maximum airflow. Test the fan at each speed to ensure you are selecting the highest one.
If the fan appears to be running slower than usual, follow the “Fan is Running Slow” checklist.
Fan is Wobbling
Check Screws/Loose Parts
Verify that all screws are tightened properly; loose screws on the coupling cover, downrod, or hanger bracket can cause wobble.
Verify that the light kit and glass (if applicable) are properly tightened.
Check Blades
Verify that the blades are level with each other and are not warped.
Remove the blades and stack them on top of each other to ensure they are all straight.
When installed, the blades should “click” into place on the blade arm posts.
Check Blade Arms
Run the fan without the blades to see if wobble persists with the blade arms.
If wobble stops, you may need a set of blades or a balancing kit.
If wobble continues, remove the blade arms and run the fan again without them.
If wobble stops, you may need a set of blade arms or a balancing kit.
